Charles Makes Homes Better: Bring your "self" into your home. Charles makes your home a better place to live. Charles grew up playing in homes under construction and learned the basics of carpentry renovating mill houses in Gaston County as a teenager. His theatre degree in acting and set design/build was an excellent influence for learning about people, the flow of bodies in a space, purposeful placement of objects, and the design of unique spaces. After employment with a local hardware store and several contractors, Charles has honed his skills while working as a self-employed carpenter and artist for the past 7 years. 

 

Focusing on design and creative carpentry, Charles builds furniture pieces and trim to help others be comfortable and joyful living in the spaces they occupy.
